Welcome to the Netmagis application. Once logged in, this application allows you to manage DNS information.
Introduction
This application interactively manages hosts (names and IP addresses) on your network. These informations are stored in a database, and are periodically propagated to DNS servers.
You may use classical operations:
- add hosts or aliases
- change informations associated with a host
- delete hosts or aliases
Additionnal informations are associated to each host:
- host type: use it!
- comment: this is a zone for you, don't hesitate to use it
- responsible: the responsible person (user or sysadmin) for this host
Feel free to use this database to manage your hosts. In case of suggestions for improvement, contact application authors.
